Privacy Policy

Information we collect

• Contact details you give us: name, email address and mobile number when you book, register, buy a pass, place a pickup order, sign in, join a notify list or send us a message.
• Booking and purchase records: court times, program registrations, passes and credits, orders, amounts paid, refunds and cancellations.
• Signed waivers: when you sign our participant waiver we keep your legal name, date of birth, email, phone, emergency contact, the names and ages of any minors you sign for, your initials and signature, and the date, time, IP address and browser used, as a record of the agreement.
• Payment information: card payments are processed by Square on Square's secure checkout page. We never see or store your full card number.
• Technical information: basic device and usage data (pages viewed, browser type, approximate region) collected by our hosting provider's privacy-friendly analytics, which do not use advertising cookies or track you across other sites. We use a one-way hash of your IP address for a short time to prevent abuse of forms and unpaid checkout holds. Apart from signed waivers (above), we do not store the address itself.

How we use it

• To take and confirm bookings, registrations, passes and pickup orders, and to process payments and refunds.
• To send transactional messages: confirmations, receipts, pickup-ready notices, schedule changes and sign-in links.
• To send updates you asked for (for example, “notify me” lists). You can unsubscribe at any time.
• To run, secure and improve the website, prevent fraud and comply with law.
• If you join Square Loyalty at checkout, to track your rewards. Square's terms apply to that program.

Cookies and storage

We use only what the site needs to work: a sign-in cookie when you log in to My Account, and your browser's local storage to remember your shopping cart. We don't use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

Who we share it with

We share information only with service providers that help us run TYPTI Topanga Village, under contracts that limit their use of it:

• Square (payments, orders, customer records and loyalty)
• Supabase (secure database and sign-in)
• Vercel (website hosting and analytics)
• Resend (email delivery)

We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect safety, or in connection with a sale or reorganization of our business.

How long we keep it

We keep booking, order and payment records for as long as needed to provide our services and meet tax, accounting and legal obligations (generally up to seven years). Signed waivers are kept for as long as they may be needed to establish or defend legal claims. Notify-list and contact-form messages are kept until you ask us to delete them or they are no longer needed.

Your California privacy rights

If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (as amended by the CPRA) gives you the right to:

• Know what personal information we collect, use and disclose, and get a copy of it.
• Correct inaccurate personal information.
• Delete personal information, subject to legal exceptions (for example, records we must keep for taxes).
• Opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. We do not sell or share it, and we honor Global Privacy Control signals.
• Not be discriminated against for exercising these rights.

In the past 12 months we collected identifiers (name, email, phone), commercial information (bookings and purchases) and limited internet activity information, for the purposes described above, and disclosed them only to the service providers listed. We do not collect sensitive personal information for the purpose of inferring characteristics about you.

To make a request, email tpg@typti.com or call (818) 912-6048. We will verify your request by confirming details we already have (such as your email and a recent booking) and respond within 45 days. You may use an authorized agent with written permission.

Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control

We don't track you across other websites and don't allow third parties to do so on ours, so we treat every visit the same way whether or not your browser sends a “Do Not Track” signal. We also honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals as a request to opt out of any sale or sharing of personal information (which we don't do in any case).

California “Shine the Light”

We do not disclose personal information to third parties for their own direct-marketing purposes (California Civil Code §1798.83).

Children

Junior programs are booked by a parent or guardian. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Security

We use encryption in transit, access controls and reputable providers to protect your information. No system is perfectly secure, so please contact us right away if you suspect a problem.

Changes

We may update this policy. We'll change the date above and, for significant changes, post a notice on the site.
