Court bookings

• Court time is booked in 30-minute steps and paid in full online through Square. It's $100 per hour and includes use of the teaching carts and balls. Prices are shown before you pay.
• On rain days, when we open the court to players rained out elsewhere, court time is $200 per hour. A rain day is marked on the calendar in advance and applies to bookings made for that day after it's marked; existing bookings keep their price.
• Your time is held for 10 minutes while you complete checkout. If payment isn't finished in that time the hold is released and you are not charged.
• If a time becomes unavailable before your payment completes (for example, someone else finishes paying first), we refund you in full automatically.
• Please arrive 10 minutes early and check in at the store. Sessions end on time so the next group can start.

Online payment surcharge

Payments made on typtivillage.com (court time, workouts and programs, passes, memberships and pickup orders) include a 3% online payment surcharge. It's added on top of the listed price, shown before you pay, and listed as its own line at Square checkout and on your receipt. It's refunded along with any full refund. Prices at the store may differ.

Cancellations, changes and refunds

• Free cancellation up to 24 hours before your start time for a full refund. Inside 24 hours, bookings are non-refundable. Pass credits used for a program are returned if you cancel before the cutoff.
• You can cancel or move a court booking up to 24 hours before it starts from My Account. Inside 24 hours, call the store and we'll help where we can.
• Refunds go back to the original payment method and usually appear within 5–10 business days.
• If we must cancel (for example, maintenance or an emergency), we'll offer a new time or a full refund.

Six-week sessions (workouts and classes)

• Workouts are sold as a six-week session: one payment covers every class on the days you choose (1, 2 or 3 days a week) for the session. Prices are listed on the schedule and shown before you pay.
• If you join after a session has started, the price is reduced for the classes already past (rounded to the dollar).
• Members get 15% off session prices when enrolling with a member email.
• You can cancel for a full refund up to 24 hours before your first class. After that, session fees aren't refundable, including for missed classes; call us and we'll try to arrange a make-up where there's room. If we cancel a class, we'll offer a make-up or refund that class.
• Each class has limited spots (usually 6). If a class fills while your payment is processing, we refund that class automatically.

Programs and passes

• Clinics, junior programs, open play and events have limited spots. Joining a waitlist does not charge you.
• Passes include the number of credits shown at purchase. Credits don't expire, are non-transferable and have no cash value except as required by law. A credit used for a program is returned if you cancel before the cutoff.
• Coaches, times and formats may change; we'll notify registered players by email.

Memberships

• Memberships are $295 per year for one person or $495 per year for a family (up to 6 people listed at purchase). A membership lasts one year from purchase and does not renew automatically.
• Member perks: 50% off court rentals; 50% off full retail of one TYPTI racquet; 50% off drinks; 50% off racquet stringing; 40% off logowear; 33% off table tennis gear; 25% off one racquet bag; 15% off workouts; Free open play table tennis. Court and workout discounts apply automatically online when booking with a covered email; other perks are honored in store. One-item perks (racquet, bag) can be used once per membership year. Perks don't combine with other offers.
• You may cancel within 5 business days of purchase for a full refund. After that, memberships are non-refundable, except that we'll refund the unused portion if you can no longer play because of a disability or you move more than 25 miles away, and as otherwise required by California law.
• Memberships are personal to the people listed and may not be shared or transferred.

Shop orders (in-store pickup)

• Online orders are for in-store pickup only at TYPTI Topanga Village; we do not ship. We'll email you when your order is ready.
• Prices and availability can change. If an item turns out to be unavailable, we'll refund that item.
• Please pick up promptly. We'll contact you about orders that aren't collected and may cancel and refund them.
• Returns (14 days, store credit): unused, unworn items in original condition and packaging can be returned within 14 days of purchase with proof of purchase for store credit, or exchanged. We don't give cash or card refunds on returns. Final sale: racquets that have been strung or played, opened balls and consumables, and items marked final sale. Defective items are repaired, replaced or refunded. Returns are handled in store at Suite 1240.

Play safely: assumption of risk

TYPTI is a physical sport. Playing, practicing or watching involves risks including falls, collisions, being struck by a ball or racquet, and strains or other injuries. You participate voluntarily, are responsible for knowing your own health and limits, and accept these inherent risks. Every player (or a parent or guardian for minors) must sign the TYPTI participant waiver once before playing; it covers all future visits. Wear proper athletic shoes, follow staff instructions and the posted court rules.

Conduct

Please treat players, staff and the court with respect. We may refuse service or end a session without refund for unsafe, abusive or disruptive behavior, or damage to the facility. Minors must be supervised by a parent or guardian unless enrolled in a supervised junior program.

Using the website

• Don't misuse the site, interfere with its operation, or hold court time or program spots you don't intend to use.
• Content, logos and photos on this site belong to TYPTI or its licensors and may not be reused without permission.
• We work to keep schedules and prices accurate, but errors can happen; we may correct them and refund any affected booking.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, TYPTI Topanga Village is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, and our total liability for any claim related to a booking or purchase is limited to the amount you paid for it. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under California law.

General

These terms are governed by California law, and any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Los Angeles County, California. If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. We may update them; the version posted when you book or buy applies to that booking or purchase.
